Catherine has been on the internet for a very long time. She is an Indigenous librarian and researcher currently working as an Education Specialist for the Texas Real Estate Commission and as a researcher for MuseWork. It is her goal to teach people how to provide good representation of Indigenous peoples in the media they share. Catherine grew up on Big Sandy Rancheria, an American Indian reservation in California. She’s lived in Mesa and Tempe Arizona, Houston, and then New Orleans, before finally getting comfortable in Austin. She spent March 2018 to March 2019 teaching English in Japan, but loves her home where she can find her cat, Wilfred, tacos, and good pizza. Catherine loves video games, coffee and reading, her favorite book is “The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul” by Douglas Adams.
